Yeah, it's not great. I know that we have been debating whether or not Matthews, Marner and Nylander should have gotten the team further, but when you look at how bad this team is when you remove Marner and Nylander, maybe we do need to give them a little slack. Not a great roster, and I think Dubas lived off the three superstars his time here.

If you agree with that Dubas statement, when was the last time the Leafs had competent management? Quinn era?
 
Right. One period of that was enough. I’m going to sleep. And that’s me done until Berube and Treliving are fired.



Actually that’s me until Sunday cos the Avs game is airing on UK free to air television on some channel which has randomly decided to pick up NHL hockey so I need to boost the viewing figures so they do more.

Ugh. I’m almost as bad at boycotting the Leafs as the Leafs are at having a useful first power play unit. Im disappointed in myself.

It is hard to boycott them. I made it through the Christmas break, but I did kind of miss watching the games, even if they infuriate me.
 
It's amusing comparing these two rosters. Both teams give up all of their first round picks. Vegas gets guys like Hertl, Hanifin, Eichel

I usually keep it on mute while I watch something else with the family, a football game, or just read, but I had to hear the boos tonight! Now I will mute the rest of the game.
