    2025 Blue Jays

The thing I'm enjoying about it is they seem to have a bit of that looseness about them they had a few years back before they got all serious and are enjoying playing. I dunno if that's cos they're winning or why they're winning, though. But it's nice to see.

Marner to Vegas is finally happening

I was amused by where he stood with the slogan in the background during his Vegas unveiling

And suddenly only a game back of leading the division too!

Good start on replacing Marner’s point production by balancing the cap hit across the team to ade depth and spreading the scoring across the lines. Only 102 of the 102 points to go 👍

Yeah I didn't really put much thought into the actual money, just players I'd like to see really!

Marner to Vegas is finally happening

I'm sad to see him go, and sad with how it went down. I think the blame can be spread around. From a pure watching hockey for entertainment point of view, he was one of the most fun to watch Leafs of all (my) time. Those early years of him, Matthews and Nylander when there weren't the...

2025-26 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion

I'd be intrigued by Boeser and the other Tanev (though that's partly the romance of having brothers on the team). JVR for league minimum could be a fun one too. I'd also like to see a scoring defenseman brought in, but not sure if that's a free agency thing. Burns is old and not what he was.

They’ve been fun to watch, too. And I still think there’s room for improvement. Let’s hope it keeps going

    2025 Offseason Thread: Spring Cleaning

I wish he didn’t have to go cos for 82 games a season he is magical to watch. The entertainment he has provided me over the years in 82 game regular season has been off the charts. I think it’s an indictment on the league that he then goes into another style of hockey where his ability to...

Kind of replying to these both - I get and agree with what you’re saying OTH. But to then talk a bit to ZBBM’s point, I kind of give him a “pass” for this last season and am more willing to think that he will bounce back and that he is more likely to be a game breaker. I know you’re going...

Thanks for responding, and no problems on the delay 👍🏼 I guess I can see where you’re coming from, but definitely can’t agree. The one thing I’d say, I think a goal scorer is more likely to be impactful if his trump card comes off. If Marners trump card of producing a great play and an unreal...
