Team seems to be getting its act together. Just need to maintain the effort level and avoid those sleepwalking periods that have plagued them.

Leafs have _looked_ better tonight - more zone time, better at dump-ins and recovery but still not enough shots. PP though...still a problem.

Man, Stolarz would _never_ have let that in last year. Overall though, the Leafs game seems to be coming together.

I think Cowan is good enough right now to be worthy of a regular lineup spot. However...(1) it's not clear if he can maintain that level over a long season (good chance he'll need to go the Marlies at some point), and (2) the Leafs have a lot of other forwards who, while not as talented as...

nice to see they still have the ability to mount a big comeback. not sure playing only 1 period per game is going to get them very far though

Do any of them really hate to lose? Nylander and Matthews just look like they don't care. Marner was the one who at least got mad, threw water bottles...maybe he cared too much. Meh, whatever, might skip the third.

At least Myers looks pissed.

They look like they've given up in the dzone - just not competing and letting the Pens have their way. Robertson off first line in favor of Nylander who looks a step behind to me. Sure, why not. Nothing makes sense anymore.

Robertson is the closest thing to a "fasthole" on this team. It's too bad he's so damn small.
