Jarnkrok does nothing in the playoffs...there's no bounce back here. He's shit. And funny thing Robertson actually scored a goal in the playoffs, unlike Jarnkrok, Holmberg, McMann.

I dont think 89 has been given a great chance. Both Holmberg and McMann did so why not give him a legit chance. I think he would do well on PP1. And he could be a good PKer. Kid has the wheels and a shot. Jarnkrok is pure garbage at this stage and needs to go. He does nothing in the playoffs...

Oilers lack of depth killed them in the finals....they got 2ndary scoring in previous rounds. 88 is getting 11.5M...if he can't carry a line, he's way overpaid. Same goes for Matthews. Loading them up on a line makes it harder on the opposition once every 3 shifts or so but it's easier to take...

Nah, except for the occasional load up a line, keep them separate. This would be the McDrai scenario and that doesn't work. Leafs like the Oilers need to spread it out over 3 lines. Florida's 3rd line destroyed in the playoffs.

Handicapping Matthews with the 2 worst defensive players wouldn't be at the top of my list.

I can see that but it doesn't bother me because like you said they need to believe in themselves so it's just lip service. I liked him as a cheerleader though. The boys reactions to his fights and how he interacted with the team is really all that matters. I wish him well tho and hope he gets...

Yes he wasn't a good player but I didn't see Reavo being a distraction at all. He never made a fuss about not playing and was always cheering the boys on even when not playing.

So it comes out that Reavo asked to be moved.

I think this is nothing more then doing Reavo a solid. Despite his on ice contributions/contract, he was actually a good pickup for the Leafs. From all accounts he solidified the group and was a great teammate.
