Came across this video that I found interesting. Looks at some of the possible issues related to the hit on Stolarz and the awkward neck twisting/bending that resulted.

I made the mistake this morning of re-watching some of Bennett's previous handiwork. The hit that took out Knies was a blatant forearm to the face/head, followed of course by pile-driving his head into the ice. But the damage was already done by the hit to the face. Then there was the sucker...

Whew. They battled hard in the third to bring home the win. Woll though, going to have to be better if Stolarz is going to miss games. Didn't feel real confident with him in there.

Wow, Leafs look great in this game. Keep it up. Bennett is such a dirty scumbag. Someone needs to lay him out. Leafs better keep their heads up the rest of the game.

Always good to have that tailor-made excuse ready even before the series starts! Matthews already had his (whatever injury he is dealing with), now Marner has his. Hopefully they won't need to use them.

The last time the two teams met the Panthers made the Leafs look like a beer league team, and that was without several key players in the lineup. Overall I think the Leafs are built much better this year to compete with Florida, especially defensively, but it's still a really tough matchup...

Anything is possible - until it isn't. McMann looked much better tonight - he needs to bring that every game against Florida. Domi too. Nylander needs to learn to keep his shifts shorter.

Sens have a bright future. Hopefully the Leafs do too...maybe this is the year after all.

PK was great and Ottawa players looked like they were gripping the sticks pretty tightly. All for naught...it's a crapshoot now.
