If they're going to go deep, they have to avoid exhaustive first rounds against teams they should beat and stay healthy. Tonight was a very good first step towards doing that.

It is like they haven't watched the Leafs throughout much of the season ... especially since their .741 stretch after Four Nations Cup. That is how they have been playing. Have to wonder how some on Sportsnet keep their jobs

I didn't like that his left leg seemed to sort of slew foot Jarnkrok - take his legs out from under him. He could have hurt him. I thought they had some justification for the call.
