That was one of the most disappointing finishes I have seen in a long time. Runner in scoring position in each of the last four innings. Second and third with none out in the bottom of the ninth. I did not expect them to hang 9 runs on the Dodgers in the 6th. That was an impressive win. :)

Saw a stat this morning. Last night's loss was tied for the biggest margin of defeat in a game 7 for a home team in nhl history. Another in a seemingly endless stream of laughing points for Leaf haters. They don't just lose, they find newer, even worse ways to lose.

This series completely turned around in game 3, as was said above. It went from Leafs dominance to complete submission. They were up 3-1 in game 3. Since that time, they have been outscored 17-5 (up to 5-1 tonight) and haven't scored more than two goals, just like in 2022. The Leafs offence and...

Florida doing what the Leafs had been doing in the first round and up to game 2 - responding quickly. That goal epitomizes this game and the leafs collapse after being up 2-0 in the series and 2-0 in game 3.

Watch out for an action packed, neutral zone trapped third period with lots of hooking and holding. Whoops, I meant "letting them play".

Quit with the hail mary passes, get back to playing your game and maybe make this a bit closer. All these stretch passes are just getting picked off. They need to settle down and get the next goal or this is going to be 6-0 before the period is over.

And another really poor decision, this time by Domi led to at least a minute in the Leafs end - not sure how that one stayed out. This is going from bad to worse. Marchand is skating circles around them, which is all the more frustrating.
