I would say the Leafs being much more loose defensively is the story of this game. What happened to the team from Game 6 that gave up next to nothing? Lots of blown assignments, bad pinches and poor decisions in the second period have completely unravelled this game.

Agree, it isn't like the Leafs are playing a bad team. It is frustrating to watch them lose, but Florida gets full marks.

For crying out loud I was feeling pretty good about this period. Now they have gone from contenders to game 7 chokers in a matter of minutes. Let's see if they have anything left.

On both shots? He had two chances. The first shot was one he gobbled up all Game 6.

That's on Woll. First shot gave up a big rebound, second one hit him in the glove and he dropped it. Now the Leafs are in big big trouble. I hate Florida so much.

I thought Woll may have been a little too far over on that one. Rielly with the poor decision at center ice costs the Leafs there.

And the bonehead play finally costs the Leafs. That was terrible.

Laughton seemed a bit slow on that breakaway, unfortunately the dman caught up enough to hassle him into a weak shot.

I thought for a second Nylander put that one in, Bob squeezed the hole shut.

I feel terrible for Scheifele. He made a mistake at the blue line, then had to take a tripping penalty to prevent a breakaway. Dallas scored on the ensuing PP to win the series in OT. He just lost his dad yesterday, this just makes things so much worse. :(

Had a feeling this would be a close one after the blowout in game 5. Come on boys, win this won and take it home.

Happy for Kapanen. Good moment for the Oilers, they continue to surprise (and by surprise, I mean despite their goaltending). Skinner seems to be back in form after sucking terribly in the first two games of the Kings series. Looking forward to seeing the Oilers and (presumably) Dallas.
