    Bruins vs. Leafs - Nov. 11th, 7:00pm - TSN4

That may have been the most frustrating game to watch. 1 shot in the first 10 minutes of the game. That listless play is probably the most concerning thing for me. The Leafs pick up some momentum in the first after killing off 47 penalties, only to be followed by a shift of getting stuck in...

2025-26 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion

I'm more referring to the shot totals in long stretches of play. The lethargic play for full periods is very concerning IMO.

2025-26 Toronto Maple Leafs General Discussion

You do realize that there's 3 other players on the ice that contribute to team defense? Do you know what leads to goals against? Give aways at the bluelines. Both bluelines. D-Zone Exits and O-Zone entries. Do you know who has the puck a good amount of the time when those two actions are...

Team D and goaltending. The constant odd person rushes don't fall solely on the D

    Hurricanes @ Leafs - Nov. 9th, 7:00pm - TSN4

Benoit is fine as a limited #6 IMO. I don't think the problem is with the bottom D. I think there's a couple things at play here. There's no real top pairing defensive, dman on the team. I also think that team defense is the biggest issue. Whether that's a symptom of not being able to play the...

    Hurricanes @ Leafs - Nov. 9th, 7:00pm - TSN4

I'm not even saying that Marner being on or off this team would help fix what we are seeing. I would argue that these problems are an ongoing problem with this team and their commitment to "giving a shit". I just question whether what we saw from Marner was his "give a damn" and not a toddler...

    Hurricanes @ Leafs - Nov. 9th, 7:00pm - TSN4

They definitely helped each other out. An elite playmaker with an elite(or used to be) goalscorer can certainly improve both player's games. That said, I think the only thing that is relevant when discussing Marner and the Leafs is the team's performance with Marner, and without Marner. His...

    Hurricanes @ Leafs - Nov. 9th, 7:00pm - TSN4

That's not covering up Berube's sh*t. That's covering up a team that has no interest in playing defense. The constant odd person rushes doesn't say a lot about the defence. It says a ton about the forwards. The gaps that they're creating by never having an F3 is allowing teams to exit zones...

He is indeed a LH bat. Defense is suspect though so they figure he'd have to get moved to 1B at some point. Which we are pretty set at.

    Penguins @ Leafs - Nov. 3rd, 7:30pm - Amazon Prime

I think it's a combo of inconsistent goaltending and very poor O to D transition by the team. They give up odd person rush after odd person rush. It's actually mind boggling how fast they make other teams look.

    Penguins @ Leafs - Nov. 3rd, 7:30pm - Amazon Prime

I don't really disagree with Berube's desire to shift this team to a more complete game. I think what you're seeing is the pendulum swinging hard in one direction. It will settle back towards the middle IMO. The issues with the game we are seeing is lack of effort and give a sh*t. Not a system...

If the team played at the 3rd period level, for even 75% of the games, they would be one of the top teams in the East.

I’ll agree with you on that one. What a sh*t goal. As for the team, take note of how many times they come up the ice and there’s players standing still. How do you transition to a dump and chase team when there’s no chase? Also, how do you dump and chase when only F1 chases?

This hockey team is broken. What a dumpster fire.

Would you prefer evasive? I actually have no issue with Berube's "simple answers". Straight to the point. Stop wasting my time kind of answers.

McMann's play has both been underwhelming in my opinion. The guy is given consistent opportunities on the top 2 lines and can never seem to string together multiple games where he makes an impact. As for Lorentz, for a bubble guy, he certainly doesn't seem to be playing with a fire lit under him.

What has everyone thought of Blais so far? My viewing has been limited, but the shift or two I watched, I actually really liked the way he plays.

I'm not sure about the NHL, but in any minor hockey sport, if there's fear of a neck injury, the player is strapped down.

    2025 Blue Jays

If Jays capitalized on their RISP in game 6 and 7, they win this series easily. Too often were runners on 2nd, with no one out and no runs(or even base advancement) was realized. 3-17 in game 7 1-9 in game 6 Combined 4-26. Barf
