I suppose Binnington is an example. And Hellebuyck's habits are certainly odd.

I think it's been trained out of hockey culture. Closest thing to a pitcher is a goalie IMO. Goalies are odd, with some really weird rituals but you don't see the Patty Roy fire out of goalies anymore.

This team needs a hype man on the bench. Maybe a mascot running up and down the bench doing cheers. Their mood swings are worse than my ex wife.

It actually looks like he was trying to use the momentum to not only draw a penalty, but clip the other defender.

Yeah, I've been training goalies for 30 years now. Again, I see no issue with his play on any of those goals. Sure, he could have stopped them with really excellent saves, but those would not be throw away saves. First goal, where should he go? Into the mass of legs and sticks? Second Goal...

I think they should run the exact same line up as yesterday. My only thought would be to drop Maccelli to the 4th line or the press box.

Not gonna win many games when the following happens with these players. Especially with Bichette out: Guerrero - 0 for 7 Varsho - 0 for 7 Kirk - 1 for 7 Barger - 0 for 6 Springer - 2 for 8 Those 5 players need to be much, much better. The Mariner's have no fear of anyone in the line up.
