Yah, I thought it might be about putting bums in seats...but it sure doesn't look like a great contract at the moment.So the guy that many people demanded the Jays re-sign at all costs currently sits at a .794 OPS with 6HR and 1.1 WAR in just under 200 at bats. Funny enough, that is kind of in line with his efforts every year, except for that 1 covid season in Buffalo's AAA ballpark, and the amazing 3 months last year, after falling out of contention, in his contract year.
