I see a major cleavage among posters here a-coming. Put me down for team Spottchek. At least it makes sense.

Dude, everyone knows Horachek is the one in charge, his name should be first.

Is Kadri really going to play already? That would be very good news.

Nobody's really said anything one way or another, but injured players rarely skate on a regular line unless they're ready to play. We'll likely know for sure after the morning skate.

I'm not sure if all the excitement today will be enough to get a win tomorrow, but it shouldn't hurt matters.

If they come out flat against the Caps then the situation runs deeper than any of us thought.

I expect an 'A' for effort, and a 'W' would be the cherry on top.

Actually, a lot of us think it runs deeper than just the head coach. I would say most people understand this isn't just a coaching problem.

Also, that no one should really read that much into a single game. If they're still having the same issues a month from now, then we can start to draw conclusions about the roster issues.

Horacle it is!

I'm going with Hott Sporch, mostly because it sounds vaguely dirty.

I'm also contemplating Sporckle or Sporacle. Sporachett? I dunno. I'm looking forward to when there's only one coach to worry about.

There's some pretty fun anagrams out there:

Ha Hot Sprocket
Path To Chokers
Pat Hot Chokers
Shocker Top Hat
Hot Hot Packers
Rocket's Path, ho!
Choker Hat Spot
Hart Tops Choke
Shot Packet Rho
Hope Tracks Hot

I think I'm gonna go with Shot Packet Rho for now.

Teach Pork Shot.  The pork shot is a lost art in today's NHL.
Shack The Troop.  A bonding exercise, obviously.
Hash pot rocket.  Avoid drug testing.

I meant if they turn up flat it could run deeper than a just motivational issue with the players, as that is what I believe is the underlying problem with this team. It certianly appeared Randy could no longer get them motivated on a consistant basis, and the new coaches may not be able to in the long term either. But, if they can't get up for the game tomorrow with the extra pressure on themselves for what happened to Carlyle, then I guess my assumption would be wrong.

I know they're likely be no actual change already, but I look forward to the fresh start.

I hope someone "bumps into" Ovechkin. As long as they say sorry.

I hope Komorov put through the boards. Pay back is Beech!

I think the real question whether our coaching tandem could beat up new jerseys coaching tandem.

Full practice lines:

Winnik-Kadri-Kessel
JVR-Bozak-Santorelli
Komarov-Smith-Clarkson
Booth-Carrick-Panik

Panik and Clarkson should switch, but it's a start.
