And as much as it may have been true in earlier seasons, the Leafs-Bruins series was a hard series. The Panthers series was a hard series (aside from the garbage of Game 5 and 7). You can't make the excuse that we made it easy on the Pathers so they were rested. Carolina played two bum teams in a row and were rested heading into that series. The Leafs have genuinely been screwed by having better teams in their first round matchups than most teams. But it doesn't matter. They didn't adapt quickly enough.
