Game means nothing in the standings for the Leafs and losing will hurt Montreal, but I still want them to win!

Yeah, I want the Habs to stay in the race enough so that we can knock them out on Saturday. Columbus plays Boston and Montreal plays Tampa tonight, so all 3 of those potential wild card teams are in tough tonight.

Yes, knocking them out will be sweet, that is true!

There is still a remote chance for home ice.

This is true - Leafs have the ROW advantage.  If they go 3-0, and Boston 1-2, Leafs would get the tiebreak.

Slim chance to be sure, but wouldn't that be fun if they pulled it off after thinking they'd be the road team for the last month and a half.

Of course, that would mean Sparks would need to win 2 games...

I'm guessing this will be Sparks' last start this season. Tampa will be a good measuring stick game for everyone, and if he gets Saturday off he's sitting for too long before game 1.

Perhaps...but..if the Leafs magically capture home ice in the above 3-0 scenario, they'd start in Toronto on Wednesday instead of in Boston on Thursday. So it would only be 3 days off as opposed to 4.

Regardless, unless he's got bumps and bruises sitting Freddy for one extra game at the end of the season isn't going to change anything for him. He'll want to play, so let him.

Rosen-Dermott is such an upgrade over Marincin-Holl.
The Dermatologist and The Rose shoring up that third pairing.

I secretly hope CAR doesn't make because of their stupid celebrations after wins. I know I am a grumpy SOB but I just can't stand it.

....Really? Having fun with your home crowd after a win is, stupid? It was ingenious.
I wish the Leafs would do something fun, although the suits may complain if they have to do anything 'fun' that doesn't include sushi and wine.

Don is that you?

I'm with you.. Can't stand it. It's little league so i wouldn't have an issue if they missed either. I don't care what the habs do.
