Game Notes
LA
-Darcy Kuemper (25-9-7, 2.10 GAA, .919 Sv%) will likely start for the Kings
-The Kings have the best home record in the league this season going 26-3-4 in LA. This game is in... LA
TOR
-Anthony Stolarz (15-8-3, 2.40 GAA, .917 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
-Berube confirmed after practice on Friday that Holmberg would be getting back into the line-up. He didn't say who would be coming out so I'm assuming Jarnkrok but Robertson and Kampf are of course also possibilities

"The Kings have the best home record in the league this season going 26-3-4 in LA. This game is in... LA"

The Leafiest thing would for Leafs to trounce them 6 to 1 in LA. The second Leafiest thing would be to lose after a very strong first period.

I was hoping for more out of Järnkrok. I realize he's still feeling his way back, though.
I had no hope for him to bring anything other than a 4th line guy. I would have tried to move his 2M+ hit out last year but here we are again. Wouldn't mind to be proven wrong before the season's over tho.

I think the Leafiest thing would actually be

(1) lose to San Jose
(2) dominate LA and win big (6-1 or something as you note), but then
(3) crap the bed against Anaheim

Step 1 successfully completed...steps 2 and 3 TBD

Matthews and Marner went to visit the Marleaus (and Thornton), so I’m expecting to lose the whole Cali trip. Wouldn’t mind if they prove me wrong, but the history is there.

So what if they did? Do you not visit friends if you travel to where they live? Get a grip. And history says the Leafs swept this trip last year. In fact in the last 3 seasons, Leafs have gotten 14 out of a possible 18pts on this trip.

If you don’t know me (and my schtick) by now…

Tisk tisk.... no Guilt Tripping other users for their comments.

McCabe with a smart hesitation to get a rebound off Kuemper and then a good defensive play in his own zone to get the puck to a teammate.
