Game Notes

TOR
?Andersen (6-5-0, 2.49 GAA, .917 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
?Dermott was back with Ozhiganov at practice on Friday, so it seems as though those two will make up the bottom pairing
?Trevor Moore was called up by the Leafs on Friday night. Moore has led the Marlies in scoring so far this season with 8 goals and 12 points in 10 games. If he plays he'll be making his NHL debut

PIT
?Murray (4-2-1, 3.45 GAA, .897 Sv%) will likely start for the Pens
?Murray's numbers have been much better since returning from an early season concussion: he's 3-1-1 with a .924 Sv% since then
?Malkin's 20 points in 11 games gives him the highest points-per-game rate in the league at the moment
?Kessel (16 points in 14 games), Crosby (14 points in 11 games) and Letang (12 points in 10 games) are also scoring over a point per game

Injuries

?Auston Matthews - Shoulder - Injured Reserve
Code:

?Derick Brassard - Lower Body - Injured Reserve
?Justin Schultz - Leg - Injured Reserve

Too bad, I thought Holl deserved a second start with his play against Dallas. Hopefully at least he's been added to the Oz/Marincin carousel, as he could very well be the best option of the three.

I actually didn't think Holl looked all that great the other day. I still hope he gets playing time here and there though. It's just tough to come in and have a great game when you've been sitting for a month.

I didn't think he looked great either. And, to be honest, neither did Dermott.

Another high quality opponent tonight. Seems like other teams are bringing their A game against the Leafs lately. They played pretty well against Dallas, let's hope for a W tonight.

GO LEAFS GO!

I wish Hainsey would get a cold or something so we could see what happens when Riley was forced to play with someone else like Dermott or Holl or something.

So this is going to be my 5th game watched today. Four EPL games watched already, starting at 8:30, then 11:00, 1:30 and finally the 3:45 game. Each one has been better that the previous one, which leads to the pinnacle of the day, this game. Don?t disappoint me lads.

Where are you?  Easter Island?

Wow Murray. Great job by Kadri to generate the play.

Hmm which team are the refs playing for tonight?

That?s still a nice play even with the high tip. Great work by Johnsson to body off the winger and get the puck cleanly back to Ozhiganov.

Who is Gino and why does he get to be called by a pet name rather than a surname like everyone else

Knob save is the epitome of luck.

Penguins really should be down 0-3 to the Tavares line right now.
