I get the sense I might be updating the Malkin highlight thread every now and then this year.
 
Such a dominant (and yet still unheralded) player. I actually kind of hope that Pittsburgh is forced to trade him this season. I'd love to see what he could do on his own team, even if it will be out of his prime.

This is also your annual reminder that the Pens were only able to win 1 Stanley Cup during a large stretch of time where they had two of the top 3-5 players in the league.

That's true but in this era where people try to pass off a team that has a bunch of mediocre seasons punctuating their Stanley Cups as a dynasty there's something to be said for getting to back to back game 7's of the Finals.
 
I've always been a Malkin fan as well, and I totally agree that he's been largely unheralded; either because of playing in the shadow of Crosby or people wrongly attributing his success to the influence of Crosby.
