Babs says a "Leaf looking" roster will be in place Thursday in Mont., Sat. In Det. and a "Marlie looking" roster Friday in Hamilton v Wings.

Lines at practice, per Kristen Shilton:

Martin-Matthews-Marner
JVR-Nylander-Hyman
Michalek-Kadri-Komarov
Brown-Gauthier-Kapanen

Hunwick-Zaitsev
Marincin-Rielly
Gardiner-Carrick
Brouillard-Hrabarenka

Getting closer to what we'll see opening night. I'd be pretty happy with that top-6 on D.

Babcock has said he will be rolling NHLish rosters today and for the last preseason game, and a Marlie lineup for the game in Hamilton in between.

I think Bozak is a bit banged up. He was a late scratch from the trip to Saskatoon, where the Leafs tried to send a lot of their Prairie-born players.

Hummm D looks good and pretty close to open day roster.

Martin-Matthews-Marner - Intersting line. Komarov is a better option there over Martin, however lets see how it goes

JVR-Nylander-Hyman - Really like this line, on paper looks good.

Brown-Gauthier-Kapanen - Also loved this one

Victor Loov added to the first group. Game group for tonight. Minus five scratches

Habs are icing pretty much a NHL roster too:

Andrighetto-Galchenyuk-Gallagher
Lehkonen-Plekanec-Radulov
Carr-Desharnais-Shaw
Danault-Mitchell-McCarron

Beaulieu-Weber
Markov-Petry
Emelin-Sergachev

Price
Condon

Just missing Pacioretty (out with the flu) and maybe a change or two on the 4th line.

Does it look like Sergachev is going to make the team? That'd be impressive if so.

A lot of Habs fans are pulling for him.  Its either impressive or due to a lack of depth on D.

I certainly could be giving Bergevin too much credit but I don't think he'd throw an 18 year old defenseman into the NHL just because they lacked immediate depth. I have to figure that would also imply they thought he could do the job which is impressive either way.

They just got Mark Barberio through waivers, so he'll probably start in the AHL. They still have Zach Redmond and former Leafs draft pick Greg Pateryn in camp. So it seems like Sergachev is in a battle with those 2 for the 6th and 7th D spots.

Andersen getting all of tonight's game. Enroth tomorrow's. Andersen again most likely for Saturday.

Unfortunately we still seem to be giving up the early goal.

I hope this is an aberration and not a sign of that trend continuing from last year.

Just for the record, I'm getting the number thirty-four tattooed on my left ventricle.

Andersen looking good after an early wobble, Matthews with a great shot and goal on the PP
