this will be a  tough one in the LHF household. Son's a big Redwings fan (the traitor!, but at least his team isn't full of losers).....

oh well go Leafs go?

I'm sure it'll be another thread full of ripping on Phaneuf but more to consider.  Since 2010 Phaneuf's played the most minutes with, in order, Carl Gunnarsson, Keith Aulie, Francois Beauchemin, Jake Gardiner, Korbinian Holzer, Mike Kostka, Cody Franson and John-Michael Liles.

Also worth mentioning - in the TBay game, he only started 7% of his ES shifts in the offensive zone. That's, you know, crazy. Carlyle is still really giving him tough assignments.

And I wasn't meaning to criticize Gunnarsson, but since getting healthy in St. Louis he's been getting 4/5 ice-time among their D at even strength and hasn't been used on the PK or PP.

What exactly is the attraction of Stromboulopolous as a host?  Is he supposed to appeal to a younger audience?
