Sandin knee injury

Booooooo

I'm imagining a very long bungee cord tied to Travis Dermott and Dubas yanking on it.

Ok, not really.

On the bright side, even with Dermott having just been dealt and 2 defencemen on the IR the Leafs will still be able to ice 6 legitimate NHL defenders on Wednesday.

All ways look on the bright side of life, Brian.

He was injured on March 19th and they said "weeks", Saturday will be 3 weeks, wonder how much longer he'll be out.

There keeping pretty tight reins on any information about him.  I have had it with Holl and Muzzin.

He skated yesterday for the first time. Probably still at least a week or two away then.

As long as I'm bumping threads, it would be great to have Sandin back too.

It was in the general thread by Dubas say last week of the season is the best case scenario.  I don't think he is playing much in Round 1.

Although Muzz seems to be playing a bit better than before, he is one head hit away from Robidas Island.  Holl still seems lost in the defensive zone although his offence is not terrible.
I would rather see Sandin-Lily on our 3rd pairing than Muzz and Holl.

Rielly-Luber
Geo-Brodie
Sandin-Lily

Keep Holl and Muzz in reserve.

Holl is fine with Gio and Brodie. He and Muzz just doesn't work because neither are particularly good at moving the puck. Muzz was just fine with Brodie. I don't see Keefe going with 2 rookies on the 3rd pairing unless injuries take over.

You may be right but Sandin is hardly a green rookie.  After all, he already had a big gaffe last year in the playoffs, didn't he?  :P
