TOR
?Bernier likely starts for the Leafs, although as usual we won't know for sure until the morning

These GDT posts are works of art. Thank you.

I haven't seen Dallas play this year, but judging by their record and surface stats here, it looks like we might be in for some pond hockey tonight. If we keep rolling 4 lines and have the forwards give our defense short and quick outlets, we'll do just fine.

It seems like the only thing they've got going for them is their top-3 forwards. Secondary scoring, defence, and goaltending have all been a problem.

Bernier starts 6th straight v Stars; Leafs don't play on consecutive nights until Dec. 9-10... Reimer hasn't started since Nov. 15

I could maybe see Reimer going against New Jersey on Thursday. If he doesn't get that start though Randy truly has zero faith in him.

I don't think he has any.  He's had what, 1 start this season that wasn't a back-to-back?

I don't care if that's how they want to do it, but there's no "battle" for the net.

One day their trading away of talent will bite them...one day...

I think we're already starting to see signs of it. It's hard to tell because of how significant their injuries have been, but, at the same time, those injuries have exposed that their depth is just, you know, average now.

Man, Tyler Seguin huh?

Since the trade (so this season and last) he's 2nd to only Crosby in points.

I think what I like best about his performance is that it makes three different teams look stupid.

He's being held out for precautionary reasons. It sounds like this is similar to when Winnik missed 2 games. I wouldn't be too worried just yet.

I'm glad the team is taking every precaution to ensure that Komarov can continue to have a long, fruitful career. The apparent lack of supplemental discipline on Ovechkin's hit is a little disappointing.

There was hardly even any discussion; even the article linked above decisively calls it "accidental".  If anything, all I have seen is people gushing about what a super nice guy Ovie was for going over to apologize to Komarov after the game. Somehow he's coming out of this smelling like roses.

Do we see Winnik move back up to the 2nd line, or Lupul? I've been eager to see Lupul-Kadri-Santorelli...
