Canadiens vs. Leafs - Nov. 22nd, 7:00pm - SN

Tre must like their DNA. They're all signed through next season except waiver pickup Stecher. A bunch are signed for 3 years. Three are signed until 2030.
They have resumed taking the lead in worst goals against per game in the league.

Yeah I'm beginning to appreciate the blow it up path. I'm not getting any younger.

Same here. I think they have to completely blow it up...Treliving, Berube, roster. I don't trust Treliving to do a rebuild. Berube - not the coach I thought we were getting. No accountability, doesn't seem to have a plan other than keep changing lines.

Berube probably wouldn't want to hang around for a rebuild.
Neither will Matthews
The lengthy contracts on the aged D will be tough to move.

Problem is: Treliving would have a hard time approaching the board after his DNA claim has turned to DNR and ask to do the rebuild. But he's going to see the writing on the wall before we do and he'll have little choice but to trade picks and prospects to survive. The odds of this team winning a Cup are microscopic. MLSE need to pull the plug before Tre gets desperate or at the very least, request authorization of all trades.

The other thing is: so many picks and prospects have been traded away already. So the rebuild is going to be lengthy and painful.

Unless Matthews comes back and shows a pulse, I don't really care if he sticks around.

Whether he shows a pulse or not, I'm sure he'd like to win a Cup. That won't happen any time soon for a team going into a rebuild with a weak prospect system and few draft picks.

The Victoria Cougars were not part of the NHL when they won it. They were in the Pacific Coast Hockey League in 1924/25 so again, it's only 3 in NHL history.
Your claim was this:
"Odds of a head coach winning with two different teams is minute."
Lester Patrick won two Stanley Cups with two different teams.
In 1925, his Victoria Cougars beat the defending Cup champions, NHL's Montreal Canadiens
