I don't think he was particularly noticeable tonight but still with his breakaway speed and shot (and size/strength) I don't get why McMann isn't going out in OT before any of Maccelli, Robertson, or Cowan.

Cowan is reminding me of stajan in his first year. Not in a good way. Or even the way Spezza looked in his first couple of seasons.

It might be because he's fairly north-south and not a great playmaker.
He scores more in the dirty areas and we don't see as much of that in OT.
But I have wondered that for some time. I'd just like to see it ... because he could get a breakaway

I think that Robertson would be a better option than Cowan. He has speed, and some tenacity. He doesn't cough up the puck as much as he used to. I don't get it sometimes. It really does seem that Berube is just Carlyle 2.0.
