In the clip Herman posted you can clearly see 6 Czech skaters.

It's like they are all so amped up they have forgotten how to count. It's not like Canada was complaining about it. You would think they would just be screaming if they knew at the time.

Marner didn't even take a stride; Kampf sagged off to cover the blueline guy instead of just checking Marner off the puck (probably assuming a pass).

That backhander was nasty. Going farside high glove with a backhand steering into the blockerside is a crazy tiny window.

1v3 is the kind of risk taking that Marner generally eschewed in the playoffs previously, so this is a smart development for him.
