Idiocracy 2024

I'm sorry, what?

Directly translated quote from their press office
"we are also bringing to this campaign the assistance of the United States, my friend, US President Donald Trump, and the US military. This coalition of forces allows us to do what I have yearned to do for 40 years: smite the terror regime hip and thigh. This is what I promised – and this is what we shall do"

We can view a regime as dangerous. Bombing children crosses such a blatant flipping line. The fact that the war is partially being performative to distract away from a global pedophile ring is disgusting. Heads need to roll and as usual it's the innocent ones that are facing that consequence.
At this point, I'm find it pretty near impossible to view Iran as in any way "dangerous" compared to the two regimes that are now carpet bombing the capital of a country they attacked in the middle of negotiations. TBH I don't think the US or Israel view Iran as dangerous either. They viewed it as weak enough to attack.

They are dangerous to Israel which is important enough for the US to care about I suppose. But they were never any kind of threat to US soil. That's just complete nonsense.

Israel absolutely views Iran as dangerous. They fund Hamas and Hezbollah.

Ok, but how dangerous? Reporting is Israel was eager to attack when they did because Iran was about to build a nuke reconstitute their ballistic missile deterrence and pose an existential threat threaten to constrain their complete freedom of action in the region. That doesn't seem to me like a country that feels truly endangered. But, even if they did, who cares? The people making these judgment calls, both the Israelis and Americans, are messianic lunatics and/or senile/alcoholic/stupid/deviant warhawks.

The main point was about who, objectively, ought to be viewed as truly dangerous here.
