I think the primary season is that he's not very good. Which is a shame, I liked him as a prospect and he had a decent first couple seasons with LA.

I would have preferred DiPietro over Primeau, but I Primeau does have more NHL experience so I guess that played a big role. Blais has been a guy I've wondered if the Leafs would have interest in ever since Berube arrived, so that one's not a big surprise.

It's well documented that McDavid gave up $8mil total on his last deal. He's giving up, what, at least another $8mil total on this deal. That's $16mil he's given up for the Oilers. If they pay that back with another Skinner-led playoff run people should go to jail.

A lot of half decent goalies on the list if the Leafs wanted to pluck someone off here to cover for Woll while he's away. Especially if the team has an idea that his return isn't imminent.

Well, that's a bummer. It looked like we were getting a different Laughton this season. Presumably this just means Kampf slides back into the 4C spot. I wonder if there's any dominos with that though. Cowan at 4RW likely doesn't work quite as well in that case.
