Wanting it all and what you eventually settle for are two different things. We are all assuming that Mitch Marner is not going to settle. He will. He'll give up on some of his asks. As we all do when we negotiate a new job. To be honest, I'm not sure why we assume he's asking for it all.

I was of the same mindset. When the Leafs were getting dominated on the shot clock, it was only a matter of time that they started paying for that.

Leafs played Game 5 and to a lesser degree, game 4, backing away from the play. They played to not lose as opposed to playing to win.
