2011-2012 NHL Thread

Have to give a tip of the hat to ex-Leaf and surprisingly decent NHL'er Jay Harrison for standing up to Chara last night.

Classless and the Bruins go hand in hand.  Have we already forgotten last year's playoffs?  They did it in every round.

I always liked him when he played with St. John's.

Same, even though at times he was even a fringe player on the Baby Leafs. Although I did have an appreciation for those types - NathanBarrettSJML was my initial username here... yeah. Anyway, I'm happy for him.

I get the feeling that the NHL mandates goal songs, the redwings seem to have the same one as us now.

A bunch were using zombie nation when we were.

I always remembered him being pretty physical, and he's got a goal tonight too!

They're lucky none of the glass shattered during that "performance."

Could have been a costly anthem and could have cooled off the players, causing horrible groin injuries. Good thing that cat died a quick death.

Caps beat Wings 7-1.

Time to panic?

They now have goaltending, I think they are going to be the team to beat in the East this season.

Way to go out on a limb there Blue  ;]

Well, I waited to see if that was all going to work out for them, or whether they were going to be the same ol' Caps. Also, they really got Green going again tonight. I never thought the Caps had the team to really do any real damage in the playoffs, but with Vokoun in the nets now, I think they are quite solid and will be tough for any team in the league to beat now.

Smart ass. ;)

Yeah - goaltending in the regular season hasn't ever really been their problem though but I know what you mean just busting your chops.

I will say this though - in the two playoffs series he has played in he is 0 for...
