The Jays have 4 regulars with OBPs well below .300. That's just completely unacceptable.
Potvin29 said:Izturis, Arencibia, Bonifacio, who else? Reyes coming back in 2-3 weeks or so will knock one of those out.

Lawrie, when he's healthy.
Kawasaki, Rasmus 90% of the time, I wouldn't giveup on Rasmus just yet though.Potvin29 said:bustaheims said:Potvin29 said:Just hate on Arencibia. He's TERRIBLE. .238 OBP.

Nik the Trik said:To be fair to Arencibia he's hitting well enough to have a marginally positive oWAR.
I have know idea what an oWAR is but I do know Arencibia sucks. It's hard not to at least put some of the teams pitching woes on him as well.Nik the Trik said:To be fair to Arencibia he's hitting well enough to have a marginally positive oWAR.

Is oWar different than this WAR?

Potvin29 said:Ah, wasn't really considering him a regular this season because he's had so few games, and also taking into account he had no spring training. He's one we can at least assume will rise.

Kawasaki has a .331 OBP.

Rasmus hasn't been awful, either, even though he hasn't been great. If these two were the worst regulars the Jays had, they'd be in very good shape.
I don't think anything would be silly at this point considering the expectation surrounding this team. Fire them both... anything to shake things up.Potvin29 said:cabber24 said:If JPA strikes out again with a runner on third, one out, for the fourth time, Gibbons should be fired on the spot.
Why not the hitting coach if they're going to do silly things like fire someone?

But there not the worst two which, unfortunately is part of the problem. Ideally they would be.bustaheims said:Potvin29 said:cabber24 said:Kawasaki, Rasmus 90% of the time
