Really exciting way to start World Series.. Hoping this is a 7 game classic. Royals are never out of anything it seems

If Game 1 was any indication, this should be an exciting WS.

Agreed.. I heard Volquez dad passed away in the DR. They didn't tell him until after he was taken out. Although someone said he was told on way to park and family wanted him to pitch

The anthem singer drew out the end of the anthem in a yacht way.  Someone after from the broadcast made a comment saying 'boo, pick up the pace on a mic before it cut to commercial.  Hilarious but I agree.

so much for the aces of the Mets shutting down the Royals totally . Great contact hitters. Patient, opportunistic.. they just know how to win right now

Royals pitcher Johnny Cueto was superb in Kansas City's 7-1 drubbing of the Mets in Game 2, the complete opposite of his ALCS appearance against the Blue Jays at the dome.  Wonder what gives?

Some think that Cueto wasn't letting the batters in on hint of what he would throw next as opposed to his performance in T.O.
Dunno about that but he was virtually unbeatable to the Mets hitters.

Seems like everything the Mets Daniel deGrom threw at Royals' batters got batted in.  No way out here.  Some suggested deGrom was being too 'careful' not being 'flexible' enough in throwing in the same area too often.  As the announcers said, he failed to "expand" his pitches giving the Royals batters exactly what they were looking to hit.  Result:  disasterous.

I fully expect KC to win this WS.

Bryce Harper of the Washington Nationals chosen by the BBWA as N.L. MVP.  Harper is the youngest player to have won the award.

War of words between Roger Clemens and Roy Halladay (two former Blue Jays), over steroids, PED usage, etc.:

Halladay, who spent parts of 12 seasons with the Toronto Blue Jays, made headlines on Wednesday when he slammed Hall of Fame eligible players Clemens and Barry Bonds.

Roy Halladay has responded on Twitter to allegations from Roger Clemens that he used amphetamines in the latest barb between the retired aces.

I'll let my reputation speak for itself.

When you use PEDS you admit your not good enough to compete fairly!  Our nations past time should have higher standards!  No Clemens!  No Bonds!

That's odd;  it was my understanding that Clemens wasn't a fan of such accusations.

As much as Barry Bonds was a jerk, I find Clemens to be far more intolerable.
