Sneaky spear by Andersson there and Draisaitl gave it right back 10 fold. Andersson won't do that again.herman said:https://twitter.com/zjlaing/status/1776832982436966560

lol.
There's no spear there and Andersson will do it again without a doubt. That slash isn't going to stop him.cabber24 said:Sneaky spear by Andersson there and Draisaitl gave it right back 10 fold. Andersson won't do that again.herman said:https://twitter.com/zjlaing/status/1776832982436966560

The Mayor is a dick. I know the parcel of land in question, right beside Desert Ridge Mall (a really nice mall), also boarders a very chic shopping street and resto's a that have become a bit of a white elephant. The Arena would cure that problem big time. Believe me, the site is perfect.Rob said:herman said:https://twitter.com/frank_seravalli/status/1777428086163693744

So really, the only person on the planet who wants NHL hockey in Arizona is Gary Bettman.

When the Coyotes started they were downtown and doing the numbers (a tough venue to reach in its own right). The new local is way better than downtown or Gila for that matter. Hockey will work there. The entire area, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Peoria, Tempe, Chandler, Glendale, Mesa, Gilbert are exploding with growth, most are coming in from the N.E where hockey is huge. So in five more years with the current rate of growth the local will be one of the most populated area's in the US. The market will grow into the team. And I have been around the area enough to know that hockey is important there. And don't forget Matthews and Knies impact on the kids that live there. They are hero's. What is saying Salt Lake or Houston will be any better? Then your building from scratch.OldTimeHockey said:Highlander said:The Mayor is a dick. Do we really think that Arizona is a case of "if we build it, they will come"? The team has not had an average attendance of over 15k since 2005/2006. And even with that, they've only had 5 seasons (out of 26), where they've been above that 15,000 mark. Perhaps 13-15k is sufficient to make the team viable, but considering they spent 2012-2020 in that range and there was constant talk of the team being broke, I'd say it isn't.
I think he turns his blade very deliberately to gauge (spear) and an unprotected spot.bustaheims said:Guilt Trip said:There's no spear there and Andersson will do it again without a doubt. That slash isn't going to stop him.
There?s a bit of a slash to the back of Drai?s leg, but nothing out of the ordinary and definitely nothing he won?t do again when he can draw a penalty with his embellishment.

From repeated watchings of the replay, it's pretty clear Andersson's blade hit Draisatl flat. No spear.
Agree...nothing really there other then Drai getting pissy which he does when things don't go his way.bustaheims said:cabber24 said:I think he turns his blade very deliberately to gauge (spear) and an unprotected spot.bustaheims said:Guilt Trip said:There's no spear there and Andersson will do it again without a doubt.
