Turgeon over Mogilny, I disagree with but whatever.

Tom Barrasso and Mike Vernon over Cujo though is an absolute crime.

Turgeon over Mogilny, I disagree with but whatever.

Tom Barrasso and Mike Vernon over Cujo though is an absolute crime.

It's an odd class. Partly trying to rectify the lack of modern day goalies.

I get Vernon going in - 2 Cups, a Jennings, a Conn Smythe, and a post-season All Star selection. Barrasso has 2 Cups, a Jennings, a Vezina (and 4 other seasons as a finalist), a Calder, and 3 post season All Stars. CuJo has no awards other than a King Clancy. Career stats are harder to compare, considering how much of their careers Barrasso and Vernon spent in the 80s compared to Joseph - in terms of their eras, they're pretty close. I get them getting in over him based on hardware - though, he does have 3 years as a Vezina finalist (and a Gold medal from an Olympics where he hardly played).

Joseph gets in eventually, but I think there's a legit case for Vernon and Barrasso ahead of him.

He tacked on 5 mediocre years at the end of his career that pushed his numbers. Without those, they?re really close.
