Eklund probably should have been there somewhere but at least that's not really the role Holmberg took. Stunned though that they would pick him over Mikael Backlund, who might be getting a little older but is still have a pretty solid season: playing the 2nd most minutes on the Flames, on pace for 50+ points, positive possession numbers, positive xGF%, up 24-18 in actual 5-on-5 goals, top penalty killer, long history of representing Sweden internationally.
