A season to remember....

If Hyman's nickname isn't "Buster" the young Leafs are doing it wrong

I guarantee you that at least someone calls him that. Almost certainly his high school friends.

Trust me. I know from experience.

Now that it's over, I can say without question that I had more sheer fun watching this team than ever before.

What a season it was.

Amazing season and just lifts expectations for next year.  Playoffs are expected now, anything less will be a failure.  Great time to be a Leafs fan, this is just the beginning.

It was a blast that's for sure. Loved being a Leafs fan again and enjoyed the whole season. Can't wait for next year!

It can be tough being a transatlantic Leafs fan. Most games face off at midnight, or worse 12.30 now the Leafs have changed mid week games, or later after pre-game festivities. West coast road swings are a complete no-no.

I've tried watching games via NHL tv the following night, but it's not the same and with social media is virtually impossible to avoid a result for 12-14 hours from waking up to getting home after work.

A lot of the last few seasons I've tended to drift away as the season goes on and the late nights wear me down, but this year I was delighted to follow a majority of games right up to and including the playoffs. I forgot how much never ending OT can mess with the sleeping patterns. But it has been worth the less sleep for every extra minute of enjoyment and after a couple of months of early nights I can't wait to see where the ride takes us all next year.

The best is yet to come!  Three cheers to the Leafs!

Exactly!  The best is yet to come, indeed!  ;)

And, just remember, Matthews & Company, 2 2017 playoff wins!  Toews & Company, ZERO 2017 playoff wins!

The FUTURE is very BRIGHT!
