To me his main shortcomng is that he's, well, short. He gets thrown around out there because he's just too small. I think it affects his defense more than his offense, where he can use speed and skating to make space for his shot.
 
Man Simpson really trying to talk up Werenski. The Leafs let him walk into a low percentage shot because that's how they defend and he's drooling over him skating into a low percentage shots
