Blue Jays playoff roster

There are going to be a lot of people off "sick" on Thursday and Friday across Canada.

Burning up a vacation week myself(partially planned around potential Jays playoff games), but have a big "honey do" list of backyard projects to get done as well. I'll have to move the t.v. to the living room window and crank the volume!

Does this mean that the Jays are doomed to similar start times for the rest of the series too? Game 3 is on Sunday so I suppose that doesn't matter much, but if necessary 4 and 5 will be next week...

MLB playoff broadcast schedule has only been released up to Sunday (Game 3) and that game will be an 8 p.m. start.

Sunday is at 8:00 PM btw.
 
Essentially the Jays got the worst possible setup for their games.

Game 1 in the Afternoon.  Game 2 at noon on short rest.  Game 3 in the Sunday Night Football slot.  I'm going to miss all three games because of work.  That sucks.

He wasn't bad by any means in September but he was used in low leverage situations and opponents still hit .280 off him with a .357 OBP.  Lefties also hit .275 against him this year.

vs. lefties 10.47 K/9, 0.55 BB/9, 1.65 ERA, 1.91 FIP.  His BAbip vs. LHB was .380 this year.  Really his issue was HBP's, his underlying #'s aren't bad.
 
Players can be replaced, as we've seen with Cecil. The rule is they also miss the next series.

As for the start times, look at the 4 cities that had Friday games. Toronto, St. Louis, KC, and LA. Toronto was the only eastern time zone city in the lot. With no overlap intended, it made sense for them to have the early spot.
