The Leafs are being beaten by a much superior team, talent-wise, now.
What it is mystifying is why does Carlyle send the same power-play unit out virtually every time?
Reilly and Gardiner move the puck so well, they were responsible for creating the only Leaf goal tonight, they skate so well, yet stubbornly Carlyle insists in putting out Cody and Dion. What is the rationale? Why does he insist on using these guys all the time, with such sad results the past 1 1/2 months or so on the power play? Does he have a death wish not to coach in Toronto next year? (So many questions).
