Game Notes
MTL
-Samuel Montembeault (3-6-1, 3.92 GAA, .892 Sv%) will start for Canadiens
-The Habs have gone 0-4-1 in their last 5 games while being outscored 11-25. That stretch has dropped them to dead last in the Eastern conference
TOR
-Joseph Woll (1-2-0, 2.70 GAA, .892 Sv%) will start for the Leafs

No one played so badly last night (or got obviously gassed with heavy usage) that they’re automatically sitting, but it would be good to mix Dewar in. Normally I’d park Reaves without a thought, but I’m eyeballing the Habs lineup and see that Xhekaj is still a thing.

So, Holmberg probably gets to watch a game as Dewar fits the same niche and it would be good science to see if he can keep up offensively higher than 4th line.

I’d want to mix in Myers as well but there is very little case to do so right now. He might be physically fresh, but mentally behind in game speed, and Montreal is still a pretty fast team.

Reaves has not fought all season. He needs to step up with Xhekaj tonight...... the last time they scrapped Canadiens fans were saying Xhekaj won the shoving match. Let's see a real bout.

Let's hope for a shellacking. Hopefully not one of their let down games against a sh**ty opponent. Already pissed from opening day. Can't stand to lose this team and their fanbase.

Made a bet with another Father at my kids hockey team who loves the Canadiens. If Leafs win he has to wear my Justin Beiber Leaf jersey for our kids game tomorrow. And if Leafs lose I have to wear his Canadiens jersey.

GLG!!!!

He seems to be avoiding 72. I got a kick out of Reaves after the incident on Laine in the preseason. Said the Arber crap wouldn't have happened if he was on the ice. All talk. Like to see them go a lot of people think Arber would take it. Wouldn't like anything better than him getting his ass kicked so we can give it to the Habs fans who think this clown is actually good.

Lucky we aren't down. Horrible in our end a couple times already giving the puck away. Tighten up boys.

Benoit and Timmins seem to be getting hemmed in so far tonight in our end. We definitely need an upgrade on the bottom pair. I see Fabbro was put on waivers today which was surprising. Take him over the 2 anyday.

What the heck was that defending. The first guy was a lucky bounce but every Montreal player kept skating back into the crease instead of taking Timmins

They've given up 25 goals in the last 5 games. Been an issue.

McMann hasn't felt as fast this year. Not sure if teams are just prepared for him more or if he's just lagging a bit

Fabbro makes 2.5M, offers zero offence. I think Timmins is fine. Benoit has struggled so far.
