CapGeek ceases operations

A new site with salary information.  Might not ever see another CapGeek, but it's something:

http://www.generalfanager.com/

Why doesn't somebody just pick up the tools off the old site and make a new one?  Presumably with his family's permission but if not couldn't somebody just reverse engineer it and revive it that way?

I think part of the issues is/was not many people have/had the contacts that he had, who can verify all the info and make sure it's accurate.

Ah, good point. And I guess those that DO have the contacts are already employed.
