Coaching and management changes around the league

The Ducks organization is garbage. Bettman is garbage for reinstating him in the first place . These geriatric hacks need to step aside and let the game grow past this crap

I won't place the sins of the son on the father necessarily - not when the father's reputation is pretty solid, as are the rep of his other son - but the poor coaching record . . . he's totally getting the job because, as an existing assistant, he's an easy hire.

Apparently he's pretty good. Laviolette sure likes him. He was PK coach, 3rd best in the league with the Rags when they won the Pres trophy. Never had a PK under 80% with the Rags. Also with the Preds before that when they won the Pres trophy and had the 6th best PK for the 1st 2 years. Nice to see new blood in the coaching ranks.
 
DeBoer is done in Dallas. Throwing your goalie under the bus is apparently not a good combination when you also have a record of not winning against Edmonton.

I would love a coach who wasn't afraid to bench one of our core players in an elimination game if they were playing terribly and had a history of playing poorly in such situations.

EDIT: I thought you were speculating, but he is indeed fired.
