Dean Blundell is reporting his source has told him a deal for Nylander is imminent within 48 hrs. Dean. Blundell.

Too many disparate voices are saying similar things.
Blunder also said they would trade Nylander for Shea Weber before this season is over

In all seriousness though, Blundell's source could be Kypreos or any of those Sportsnet guys he used to work with.

I also chatted with Blundell. Im the source.
You remind me of that movie I never saw "look at me, I'm the captain now"

Oh I'd like to make it entirely clear that Dean Blundell does not have a source here.

Isn't he the same **** journalist that started the **** rumor that the young Sportsnet journalist was having an affair with both Josh Donaldson and Marco Estrada?

Yes, he is.  Claimed not only that but that it was the reason for some 'personal problems' that contributed to Estrada's poor season performance.

I read it and a lot of it sounded like tabloid crap.  There may have been some truth to it though as the female Sportsnet reporter was transferred to another city.

Why are you so mean to me?

I'm not sure I see what's so misleading. Inferring that Sundin is referring to his own history with the club rather than commenting on the situation at hand?

What a fantastically misleading headline and article.

Yeah that was terribly misleading.
99% of Nylander articles are click-bait, no content what so ever.

Well I think, much like most articles written today, that the title is written in a way to get views. I mean, I get it. It's a business that makes money based on clicks. And it's what I expected to read I suppose.

I don't think Sundin was referring to his time with the team. Actually I don't see him actually quoted as saying "He's not surprised the LEAFS are asking Nylander to take less money." What he does say is "I think (it happens) in every negotiation for all players in the league? .

So I suppose the article isn't really misleading. The title is certainly thrown out there to try and grab attention. Right or wrong.

Yeah, that I more or less agree with. I think the Leafs part of it came from the question rather than the answer. He was probably asked if he was surprised at what the Leafs were doing, he said "No, that's what happens in the league" or whatever and someone at Sportsnet tried to make chopped salad with the headline.

How Sundin's answer rises to the level of news is anyone's guess.
