That was exactly what I meantYou mean like the same one Pollievere has?
I'm not sure that people even understand their anger. The things alot of folks are angry about (costs, inflation, food prices, corporate greed) are all things that either a) have nothing to do with Trudeau as PM or b) will be worse under Consevative leadership. To say nothing of the free-dumb crowd who are still mad that they were told to wear a mask during a potential mass pandemicPeople act like Justin Trudeau just took the PM job like some sort of dictator.

I have no idea how to take comments anymore - I get confused as to who is mocking what. That was exactly what I meant
I see you have met my relatives. They tell me how they can't afford anything things to Trudeau, followed by pictures of their 4th vacation trip of the year. It's like there's been some sort of organized campaign to shout slogans and wonky information through media or something...

Yes things have gotten more expensive, but not all the blame is on the feds.
I get what you're saying, I just think the die was cast once Trump was elected. Trudeau wasn't going to step down there and then and there would've been a vote of non-confidence that would've passed at some point in the new year. If Trudeau didn't step down earlier last year (which I agree he should have) then it's hard to see too many other outcomes like this, but yes it's definitely not a good thing.Having zero plans in place to deal with the impending tariffs and Trump isn't good enough. Trump will run his mouth and bully us while we sit idle until late March, then go through an election, and then wait for the new government to implement its plan. We won't have federal input until the summer. If you export you might as well lay everyone off right now and see what happens. I think things will get really ugly when Trump takes office, especially with the Feds MIA.
I suppose the provinces are on their own to beef up borders to appease Trump.
Sorry, I wasn't explicit with my meaning there, and you're right, we are living in the age when anyone can mock anything without a hint of irony or self awareness, so...yea... It's kind of a crapshoot sometimes...I have no idea how to take comments anymore - I get confused as to who is mocking what.
What specifically is raising its ugly head?I'm born and raised from Toronto, moved to the States in '84. Didn't pay attention to politics until the early 2000s. The shit that I was so against for the last 20 years seems like it's raising it's ugly head in Canada. Makes me sad as I've always promoted how much of a better country it was compared to the States
This is great, and I would agree that a good number of people are angry just to be angry....but that's true no matter your political alliances.I'm not sure that people even understand their anger. And people don’t read anymore. They see headlines and draw their own conclusions, or get their news from reels, Tik tok and Facebook. It’s depressing. Facts don’t matter anymore.I think too many people don't possess critical thinking skills and are easily convinced based on emotions and constant misinformation on social media.
Racism is the first thing I noticed when I moved here as a 19 year old, then when I started following politics theWhat specifically is raising its ugly head?
To make a long story short, the increased rise of making money over people the agenda. What specifically is raising its ugly head?
