FEEDBACK ON NEW FORUM SOFTWARE

Trying to add a passkey for security login, getting this popup all the time:

I had a helluva time getting my Macbook to recognise this as the *replacement* for tmlfans lol....stupid me, stupid macbook. My inhouse techsupport is in Detroit for the weekend so I hadda figger this all out myself. LOL.....

I used attach files because embedding screenshots doesn't seem to work. But I don't know if the attachments work.... Very confusing.

My wi-fi isn't allowing me to connect to the site normally. So bizarre.
You're not alone. Seemingly at random I get an error message that says the site's not available, trying turning off Ad Block (makes no difference). It's happened on FF, Safari, and Chrome from my MacBook.

Also the bookmarks from my Android phone redirect to the homepage, not to the forums or GDTs.

I'm not complaining, mind you! In general the new platform is nice.

I didn't realise we'd moved. I missed the announcement. It was some kind soul on a blue jays forum who told me. Glad to have rediscovered you. I need to pay more attention.

Oh not at all, I just wonder how many people are affected by this? Could be quite a few (and some prospective) members. @Rick C. if you need me to pass on any data for troubleshooting I can do that.

I encounter this issue when I'm in the office at work sporadically; it's only been one day there though. On wifi and on cellular data (but that could be a cache thing) on both sites and mobile + computer. Could be the hours (mid-afternoon), but I think it's probably DNS related rather than device/network. Have not encountered it at home on mobile or computer (with and without work VPN/firewall). Both internet networks are on Bell.

It is definitely DNS related. I'm on Beanfield at home. Also I can't seem to change my avatar... keep getting an error when trying to upload.

I've noticed uploading images from your own computer doesn't seem to work, but using an image via a url does.

I was able to upload my avatar image early on. I haven't tried recently, but I will try here:

Upload process works, but the file will not fully upload/save in the post. (it previews properly and shows the 100% uploaded bar graphic, if that means anything).
Error message shows up after the upload times out: Oops! We ran into some problems.

Probably permissions on the image gallery module not allowing us randos to write to the database.
