Out of curiosity, which team should we, as TML Fans, collectively cheer for after the Leafs are officially out?

Let's cheer for Steen to win the Conn Smythe, just to make our failure complete.

He's willing to put Kulemin on the 4th line, but not Clarkson?

Anybody but Boston or Philly really. The Habs as a team I don't really care about one way or another but their fans would be brutal if they won so strike them out. If Washington sneaks in I'll root for them, otherwise Tampa or New York.

I've been debating that.

I consider myself a free agent.

I think Colorado perhaps?  Maybe SJ?  I have to see who I find myself cheering for if these 2 match up.

Would be nice to see Colborne have a big game. Always liked that kid and was disappointed that Carlyle/Nonis gave up on him so soon.

Glad he stuck in the NHL and hope he cracks 35 pts this year (though 30 is more realistic).

This team would've been a pretty good one (or at least comfortably playoff bound IMO) if they'd just stood pat with Mac/Grabbo/Colborne and brought in a new coach. Oh well, what's done is done.

I've always liked Colorado as my 2nd team after the Leafs since the time I was a kid but I'd be shocked to see them to get past Chicago without Duchene. I'm not expecting anything from them this year.

So I went with St. Louis. My gut feeling right now is that they're gonna lock horns once again with the LA Kings, but this time it'll be in the Conference Finals.

I strongly prefer the Blues to the Kings, so there you go.

I've always liked SJ since Thornton went there. I was a big Thorton fan since I saw him at the Cheery-Orr game at MLG. Luongo was in that game as well.

I live here, their fans are intolerable, they dine out heavily on being a good regular season team.

All the other local teams have had success too, listening to them crow about a Sharks championship would seriously have me considering moving.
