If this was the style of game that we are going to see down the stretch, baseball can't come soon enough because I don't think I can watch another 21 games of this style of hockey.
The OT point is probably the perfect example of this team just not being bad enough to tank in the way they will need to.
Coming out of the Olympic break the Leafs were 13th in the NHL. 21 points up on 1st and 11 points up on 5th
The Leafs just played 4 brutal games where they went 0-3-1
The Leafs are now 12th in the NHL. 21 points up on 1st and 9 points up on 5th. Of the 11 teams below the Leafs in the standings, only 4 of them have a better record than the Leafs over their last 10 games.
