We allow WAY to many shots... Even in wins (ex. Columbus, St. Louis, Washington, etc)

40+ shots every game, it's actually tough to blame the goalies

I don't know if shots have any correlation to that.  In 09-10 we were 5th in the league in shots per game (and 13th best in shots against), and we all know how that season ended up...

Jumping into the play isn't inheritedly dumb, both at the same time is.
