Hmmmmmm... No Kadri... all of a sudden our powerplay clicks.  Coincidence?  :o

yes
It?s hard to understand why Kadri doesn?t work but it doesn?t, totally invisible on the PP. What a finish by AJ! GW!
Yup. For whatever reason it hasn't worked with Kadri there. 2 more wins to go. Let's hope they can pull one out Wednesday.

Folks, just think about this: we held a 3-2 lead for the entire third period and didn't rely on megacrazy saves to do it.  I am very impressed with how the D has played so far.  Zaitsev did have a couple of bad giveaways on that one shify, but he's playing his very best hockey right now, and he's not bad when he does.  TIMELY.
That one ice level stick shaft/nub save was amazing.

They haven?t been passing to him.

The difference this game for the PP is they didn?t try to force feed the same pass to Matthews the whole time and used all the other scary options and different parts of the ice by moving assertively.

Boston also didn't pressure on the Pk. Expect that to change in game 4.

I?m still thinking about Grzelcyk?s bank pass off the backboards. It?s not an easy one to make consistently but he threw perfect weight and spin to get his shot to bank around the net in one touch.

Boston killed us in 2013 with this play (among others).

Zaitzev used his magical powers. Notice when he extends his foot is exactly when Marchand loses his mind.

Mildly surprised Kadri didn?t get called for a tripping and a dive on this play.

Every time the camera looks at Tavares it?s like he?s watching paint dry.

He conserves energy by not breathing while on the bench.

This was a bit different.

Rielly ice time last night:  27:58.  I wonder if he's ever played that much in a non-OT game before.

New career high in non-OT playoff games. For regular season it's his highest mark since the 15/16 season when he eclipsed 28 minutes a few times and even hit 31:14 once (Marty Marincin played 29:45 that night).

Looking at the stat sheet I see Marner was only credited with one shot block? Not a big deal but it's funny that I see multiple headlines referencing the two shot blocks to end the game. I guess, personally, I don't find counting hard.
