Game 3: Bruins @ Leafs - Apr. 15th, 7:00pm - CBC, Fan 590

No offence to Ennis who has done a decent job when called upon but
Why is Rich Clune not coming up to skate with Moore and Gauthier
I promise he wont be taking any shifts off and he will be putting
Bruins through the boards  Frig its so obvious
Leafs have used their 4 call ups already.

Matthews getting dominated in possession stats every night isn't acceptable in the playoffs. He needs to be significantly better for the Leafs to have a chance. He also needs to do more to justify being paid like the second best player in the league.

Yep, this is where Matthews needs to shine.

Third game of a 1-1 series is key.  Leafs win tonight and I'll feel significantly better about their chances of taking this.

And I'll just repeat, Kadri's suspension may be a blessing in disguise.  It makes the Leafs less likely to be sucked into playing Boston's style of game, which they will never win.

Greyhounds, not terriers.

His new contract doesn't kick in until next year.  I suppose he's playing commensurate with his pay grade.  Maybe he's waiting till next year to justify his new pay grade.

May be... I'd feel better about our third-line center, who's surely a second-line talent in the position, if he weren't burdened with fourth-line wingers. This is when I wish Babcock was a bit more inclined to experiment with lines. It'd be nice to see if adrenaline could get a strong performance or two from Ennis, Petan, or Moore. We know Marleau's got nothing to give in a top-nine role and was being propped up by Kadri and Nylander.

All's good if the first two lines can win their match, I guess.

So... does Krug not remember the last concussion he had literally a month ago?

I'm surprised he remembers his name after that hit the other night.

Key game tonight, obviously.  Game threes are big anyway, but it feels like the Leafs need a good response effort tonight.  Maybe the Kadri situation will galvanize them.

GLG!

I think tonight we find out what the Leafs are made of. If I'm the Bruins I come out hitting everything that moves. See if the
Leafs keep their composure or if they wilt under the onslaught.

Unfortunately I don't have a good feeling about this one. Hopefully the Leafs prove me wrong.

Leafs have to play their game. Not try to go hit for hit with the Bruins. We're built for speed and they need to use it like game 1.

Does anyone happen to have the Nic Cage YouTube link? I like it cuz the chat is really fun, bantering with Leaf Nation.

The facebook account where the links were posted was taken down months ago. Haven't found a new source for the youtube links, don't know if he's streaming them?
