They showed that young Bruins fan crying and my kid is like "oh I feel so bad for him" and I say "Michaela I'm 50 that's been my entire life don't feel too bad for that kid"

I agree with all the goal reviews. I didn't think Hyman's slight contact with Rask had any impact on the goal or his ability to make save. For the Bruins' goal, I didn't see any angle that clearly showed the puck. I think it actually was offside, but I don't know how you can overrule it with the views they had (or at least showed us.)

They have to win game 6. The result of this series will determine whether I work days or nights. The job bid is Tuesday afternoon. Game 7 is Tuesday night.

Don't do this to me, Leafs...

The Leafs played a very mature, Babcockian game. Detail oriented and patient, they weathered the penalties, outwaited Boston, and pounced on openings. The next step is doing this consistently, and there are signs this Leafs team is trending that way.

Those months last season of learning to chip and chase on top of their stretch game, as well as learning to diligently swing low for shorter breakout options this season are on display. Dubas? big signings in his first season in the big chair are all coming through at the right time.

Winning the 4th game is still the hardest but man is it nice to have two cracks at it instead of being in a must-win.

Yep, all the pressure is on Boston now.

what a great game all around. Nylander is awesome. Sounds like he listened to people and went hard to the net a number of times.

He really does seem like a better center than a winger.  The only problem is this team isn't going to have the depth to give him the kind of wingers he would need to be successful offensively to live up to the contract number.  If the Leafs didn't have Tavares I would be pushing for him to play up the middle but I just can't see Nylander scoring more than 50 points if he is going to play with Marleau/Brown type wingers.

So we are veering into dangerous hypothetical territory right now;

Tampa-Columbus - Columbus advanced 4-0
Toronto-Boston - Leafs up 3-2
Washington-Carolina - Tied 2-2
NYI-Pittsburgh - NYI advanced 4-0

TOR/BOS v. Colubus - Leafs would have home ice

NYI vs. WAS/CAR - If WAS or Carolina advance the Leafs would have home ice

San Jose is the only team in the West who would get home ice against Toronto.

Pretty crazy.  Although I guess that is what happens when we potentially could have the 11, 12th, 13th, 15th, 16th, and 17th best records advance out the first round
