My word, get a 2 on 1 and can't control the puck, not even a shot on goal.  This is a sad looking hockey team.

Not like fanning on the puck is something that only happens to the Leafs.

The Leafs are a sad looking team.  I think it's pretty obvious that all teams fan on the puck and it should be obvious that I didn't draw my conclusion of the leafs sadness based on one failed 2 on 1.  They don't play good hockey most nights.

They've probably played more good periods than bad thus far this season, IMO.

My issue with the hit is that Brown had plenty of time to make a better hit.  You can debate whether Kaleta " deserves" it, but it was careless by Brown.

Good period....but that goal had so much wrong with that it.

First the referee didn't drop the puck which caused Orr to start which led to steckel being kicked out.

Then,  Brown clearly won the faceoff.

And then Komorov with the fan on the pk....And then the goal.

So can we trade Kessel for 3 prospects who could make a whole new top line with the 1st pick in next year's draft to come and make it even better?

Maybe, maybe not.  The end results are poor.  Last two games we have given up 4 goals in the 3rd period.  I would rather play 1 good period and 2 bad and win 3-2 then to play 2 good and 1 bad and lose 5-2.

There's enough ammo in that question to blow a hole in the world. May I suggest it be confined to the Kessel thread? ;)

Haha fair enough. Thought it would be worthy first interval chat, but I shall move it over there instead!

Why does Colton Orr have 2:50 in ice-time so far?  And Grabovski has 3:37.

Carlyle heard me complaining that if he only planned to use Orr 3-4 minutes per game he should bring up someone with more talent like Hamilton. Carlyle is now sticking it to me.

LeafsTV  :'(

Oh, please, you're lucky.  Toronto in Buffalo, and I have LeafsTV. :'(

Oh I have LeafsTV, with the inability to get it in HD on my HD capable TV.  The result is like watching old VHS home-movie quality.

The last 3 times we've played in Buffalo have all been 1-goal losses.  Better than what it used to be, and gives me some hope that it's not necessarily the scary place it once was.

Do they show the Centre Ice games in HD?

No idea, I don't have Centre Ice.

Most carriers are showing Centre Ice for free, for how long, who knows.

We'd probably end up with Daigle, Filatov and DiPietro
